Guangxu-period porcelain ginger pot from China, circa 1850–1900, 20 cm high (without lid), opening 9 cm and base 15 cm, in excellent condition with minor glaze defects, lip nicks and four small interior non‑through cracks, provenance private French collection.

A very beautiful Chinese porcelain ginger jar from the late 19th century, decorated with poetry and featuring flowers and a bird.
The lacquered wooden lid. A mark in the shape of a red stamp, upside down.
Provenance: French private collection.
Dimensions: 20 cm tall without a lid, 9 cm in diameter for the opening, 15 cm in diameter for the base.
Condition (see photos): in excellent condition, firing defect, small chips on the rim, 4 small star-shaped cracks not penetrating to the interior, light signs of use.
Careful packaging, insured shipping with tracking.
