Val Saint Lambert - Vase - Crystal

A beautiful Val Saint Lambert cranberry-pink “cut-to-clear” crystal vase in excellent condition

Cranberry (ruby red/pink) overlay: a deep color layer that is swept away to clear crystal — typical for Val Saint Lambert. Cranberry cut-to-clear is one of the most collectible color combinations of VSL.

Deeply cut diamond motif in the body of the vase: this is the classic VSL grinding technique as seen in their cranberry collections.

The narrow neckline with a contoured edge is very elegant.

A clear, faceted foot, hexagonal in shape, is a detail that is often found on smaller decorative vases.

Based on the form, polishing, and color, this is most likely a Val Saint Lambert vase from the mid-20th century, possibly 1940–1960.
