A work developed in a cubist language, close to synthetic Cubism in its use of color and in the construction through planes.

In "Open Series" I treat painting as a process of continuous development, not as a closed image. The work is built from fragments, planes, and internal relations that do not aim for a single reading, but rather to remain open to new interpretations.

The cubist language appears here as a tool of organization and synthesis. The shapes articulate themselves with one another, generating tensions, pauses, and crossovers that structure the pictorial space without resorting to traditional representation. Each element occupies its place within a system that allows variations and displacements, as if the composition could extend beyond the canvas itself.

I conceive this work as part of an ongoing inquiry, where each painting is a possible state within a series that is not closed. 'Open Series' presents painting as a flexible territory, in which form, color, and space dialogue without imposing themselves, making visible the process and the idea of continuity.
