AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Exclusive inlaid table crafted with various precious marbles and a central checkerboard motif from the early 1900s.
Alluring, sophisticated, beautiful in appearance and form, it stands out for its distinctive handcrafted workmanship and the special marbles used to create the refined octagonal geometric motif.

The special inlays are made from Carrara Marble, Pink Marble of Portugal, Alpine Green Marble, Nero Portoro Marble, Daino Reale Marble, Rosso Sicilia Marble, and Rosso Venezia Marble.
A splendid central geometric motif includes a chessboard.
All the top inlays are firmly held in place by a sturdy eight-slat marble support specially made for this. (See photo of the piano turned over).
The table is supported by a pedestal (Rosso Marble and Carrara) that rests on a square stepped base, also made with several types of Marble. The heavy base ensures excellent stability.
The table features rounded edges, which gives it soft lines and an attractive design.

The table can be divided into two parts, the top and the leg. The top fits perfectly onto the top of the leg thanks to two dedicated fittings, becoming a solid and stable whole.

The combination of multicolored marbles and the checkerboard top creates a striking visual impact. Used as a table, a lamp table, or a chess table, it will add charm and refinement to any space.
