Angelo Mucchetti (1912-1960) - Gallo e galline

Angelo Mucchetti was a Brescia-based painter active in the 20th century, linked to a figurative and expressionist-influenced school of painting. His body of work is characterized by a tactile, instinctive brushwork, with a decisive use of color, often aimed at depicting scenes of daily life and rural subjects, particularly farmyard animals and peasant environments.
Their works convey immediacy and expressive force, prioritizing emotion and movement over descriptive detail, aligning themselves with the tradition of 20th-century Lombard painting.
I do not have certificates, but it comes from a Brescia-based family that had bought several works directly from the painter, all of which are in my possession and all signed.
