“Fortuna” is built as a symbolic map of balance and abundance. Inspired by ancient Asian cultures, where the elephant is regarded as a guardian of good luck, wisdom and prosperity, the work translates that imagery into a geometric and contemporary language.
The curved shapes and interlaced planes evoke the idea of protection, progress, and solidity: qualities associated with the elephant as a sacred animal and bearer of fortune. The warm tones dialogue with deep blues to suggest emotional stability and inner wealth, while the golden lines act as energy pathways, reminding us that luck is not chance, but harmony between intention, memory, and the path traveled.

Fortuna does not represent the elephant, but its essence: the quiet strength that attracts the good, sustains what is valuable, and moves forward with dignity toward the future.
This is an original work by the artist B. Morales, part of the series 'Natural Architectures.' In this series, the artist explores the emotional geometry of the plant world from an abstract perspective influenced by the aesthetics of Art Déco.


B. Morales is a visual artist graduated in Cuba from the Holguín Elementary School of Music (1999) and the Havana National School of Art (2003).
Among his exhibitions are 'Patrones,' a personal exhibition at the Fundación Ludwig in Cuba; the 'National Salon of Visual Arts' (Galería Luz y Oficios, Havana); and 'Young Painting' (Casa de la Cultura de Plaza, Havana). He has exhibited in countries such as Spain, the Netherlands, France, and the United States. He received specialized training in Art Déco at workshops held in the city of Detroit.
Her work is inspired by the geometry and visual refinement of Art Déco, whose forms she reinterprets to explore the connection between nature's patterns and modernity. Music, present from her early training, permeates her creative process as an invisible structure that organizes the internal rhythm of her compositions.
