Richard Ginori - Table service for 6 (18) - Porcelain

Valuable table service for six people from the renowned manufacturer RICHARD GINORI.

The brand, Richard Ginori, with only the inscription Richard, refers to the Società Ceramica Richard, which in 1896 merged with the Ginori manufactory of Doccia, creating the prestigious Richard Ginori. Although the factory was already producing porcelain under the Richard Ginori brand at this stage, for a few years it also continued to produce porcelain bearing only one of the two brands.
Some dishes are branded Società ceramica Italiana Laveno, one of the Italian manufacturers that in the sixties was acquired by the Richard Ginori group.

Finest porcelain. Elegant and refined decoration with double gold filigree. Shape in use since 1790, sobriety and style: an expression of the savoir-faire and craftsmanship of Richard Ginori.

The service is in excellent condition, with no breaks; the gold edge still remains pleasantly enjoyable. Notable is the craquelé, minimally present on some plates: cracks typical of the porcelain by S.C. Richard, made of strong terraglia. All these signs are due to age — the service is over 50 years old — but all the small signs of time attest to its authenticity and history, enhancing its charm and style, true to the excellence of made in Italy.
