Cutting : The collection is composed of one beautiful bifacial Handaxe cut on both faces, one notch scrapper, one hammer and one blade. Dating, hominid : These implements belong to the Mousterian Culture ( Middle Paleolithic period, circa 50 000 years ago), and was conceived by Homo Neanderthalensis. Origin : Found in France, area of the famous "Font-Maure" site, Vienne departement . Sizes : 13 cm to 6,5 cm. Condition : Very well preserved. Beautiful Patina. WONDERFUL COLORS !!! Acquired in 2015 from a French collection. The Seller can prove that the lot was obtained legally , provenance statement seen by Catawiki. Important information.
