AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Oil painting on canvas stretched over a wooden frame with dimensions 70x50x2 cm.
The work places us in a dreamlike setting where the darkness of the background does not act as emptiness, but as a fertile cosmos from which symbols of existence emerge. At the base, an organic structure with a rock-like texture guards a fossil skeleton, a spiral of bones that recalls the memory of the earth and what remains when time stands still.
Regarding this remnant of the past, a human figure executes an arc of extreme delicacy. It is a moment of vibrant life that defies the stillness of the fossil, a metaphor for the fragility of the present under the weight of history.
The painting is sent stretched on a frame, the packaging consists of cardboard, polyurethane protection and adhesive plastic, it is signed on the back and hand-signed on the front.

Paco Guzmán is an eclectic artist with a long career behind him. He graduated from the Llotja School of Barcelona in pictorial techniques and mural painting. His work is in private collections in the United States, Taiwan, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Italy. He has participated in various exhibitions in art galleries and has exhibited his work at different international art festivals. He also works as a professional caricaturist.
Paco Guzmán, born in 1970 in Ulldecona, Tarragona, is a Spanish graphic artist, painter, and caricaturist. From an early age, he showed a remarkable aptitude for drawing, creating caricatures of his teachers and classmates. Although he initially was interested in comics, he soon leaned toward Impressionist painting and caricature.
In 1992, he began his career in painting as a self-taught artist, focusing on classical subjects such as still lifes. Later, he took a correspondence course in artistic drawing, balancing his studies with his work in a furniture factory. His passion for art led him to devote himself entirely to painting and caricature, creating caricatures of friends and tourists, which allowed him to perfect his technique.

Between 1997 and 2002, he studied at the Esardi school in Amposta, in collaboration with the Llotja de Barcelona, specializing in painting techniques and mural painting. During this period, he left his job at the factory to focus on his artistic studies, supporting himself through odd jobs and his street art.

Throughout his career, Guzmán has developed an eclectic style, combining contemporary painting with caricature. He has published the book '901 Caricaturas', which collects more than one hundred caricatures of famous figures, created using various techniques such as acrylic on canvas, digital painting, oil on canvas, and graphite on paper.

In addition, he has participated in exhibitions such as 'Anatomy of the Souls and Caricaturesque Visions' at the Espai Expositiu DeltArt in Deltebre, where he presented works created during the confinement, reflecting an evolution in his technique and creativity.

Paco Guzmán continues to explore new forms of artistic expression, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the field of painting and caricature in Spain.
