Magnificent still life of the twentieth century depicting a rich arrangement of fruit laid out with great balance and painterly refinement. At the center of the scene, a woven basket full of ripe fruits harmoniously interacts with clusters of light and dark grapes, pineapple, apples, and cherries, accompanied by a pitcher with a warm, golden reflection.

The palette is dominated by warm, luminous tones, with an amber background that heightens the materiality of the brushwork and the realistic rendering of the surfaces. The light, skillfully calibrated, shapes the volumes and gives depth to the composition, recalling the great tradition of classical still life, revisited in an elegant and decorative vein.
