Description from the seller

This teapot is part of a collection and has been used no more than twice.
A very elegant and minimalist teapot designed by Pieter Stockmans, one of Belgium's leading porcelain designers. This object is a studio design, not an industrial mass-produced piece.
Works by Pieter Stockmans are included in international museum collections (including the V&A in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York).
The teapot is made of pure white porcelain and is characterized by:
°a perfectly balanced, ball-shaped body
a sleek, sculptural pouring spout
a geometrically shaped ear
° a low, flat lid
° concentric rings in the foot (typical of Stockmans’ studio work)
The design embodies Stockmans’ philosophy: functionality, precision and pure form.
