Description from the seller
What is the Dewar's Highlander?
Since the end of the 19th century, the Highlander has been the symbol of Dewar's White Label whisky. The figure depicts a proud Scottish warrior in traditional attire, complete with kilt, sporran (the pouch), bagpipe accessories, and the well-known feather bonnet (the large black hat).
Features
• Material: While many of these statues are made of plastic or plaster, the more luxurious variants (often intended for chic bars or liquor stores) came in wood or a heavy composite material.
• The plate: The copper or brass plate bearing the text "Authentic DEWAR'S Highlander" was usually added to the official merchandise issued by the distillery itself in the 20th century (often around the 1960s or 1970s).
The statue is in good condition considering its age.
The whisky bottle is shown only to illustrate the size of the subject.
