Volume in-12 (12.5 x 8.5 cm) in its first Italian binding in gold-tooled morocco. Central medallion, vegetal frame and cherub heads in the corners. Spine with three raised bands, caissons decorated with heads of gilded cherubs and title at the head. Edges gilded and finely tooled. The binding shows worn corners and a loss at the tail cap. Interior very fresh. Manuscript ex libris on the title by Jacobus Barbinius of Bologna (17th or 18th century).
Second volume alone of Pliny's Natural History, complete in itself, 524 pages and 184 pages of index.
