Description from the seller
Jeeg Robot d’Acciaio embodies the essence of 80s robot cartoons: a young hero, ancient technology, and epic challenges. Hiroshi Shiba, transformed into a cyborg thanks to a bronze bell, becomes the sentient head of the mighty Jeeg, a robot magnetically assembled piece by piece. Nemesis: Queen Himika and the Yamatai people, awakened from millennial sleep, unleash stone monsters to conquer the world. Amid spectacular transformations, titanic clashes, and an unforgettable theme song, the work is a nostalgic journey into the childhood of those who believed the world could be protected by “heart and steel.” A work in perfect condition, oil painting on wood. The wooden structure is entirely handmade; the base is a mix of plaster and adhesive stucco. Structure that does not deform over time. Oil painting with Maimeri classic colors. Together with the artwork will be provided the authenticity document of the work itself signed by the artist registered on the artists’ registry. Classical packaging with a wooden crate or heavy-duty custom-made cardboard. Roberto Re is an Italian-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, San Marino, Austria, the United States, Switzerland, and Monaco. His artistic expression always rests on different themes or “veins,” through which he grounds the techniques and the style to best express his concept. The artistic journey of Re began with informal abstraction and evolved toward surrealism and cubism. Roberto has received numerous awards from critics and has been published in trade magazines such as Juliet and CAM of
