Hurricane Polimar, an oil painting on wood in Cubism style, 60 by 50 cm, created in 2025 as an original edition, hand-signed, from Italy, in excellent condition, with an authenticity document signed by the artist.
Description from the seller
Hurricane Polimar evokes the epic of 1980s cartoons, when masked heroes and spectacular transformations kept kids glued to the TV. Takeshi, with his “Polimet Helmet,” transforms into Polimar, a hero capable of morphing into futuristic vehicles to fight crime. The work captures that colorful and dynamic energy typical of Tatsunoko series, blending action, irony and nostalgia into a vibrant homage to the animation of an unforgettable era. The piece is in perfect condition, oil on wood. The wooden structure is entirely handmade, the ground is a mix of plaster and bonding stucco. A structure that does not suffer any deformation over time. Oil-painted work with Maimeri Classic colors. Along with the artwork you will be given the authenticity document of the artwork itself signed by the artist registered in the artists’ register. Classical packaging with a wooden crate or heavy custom-made cardboard. Roberto Re is an Italy-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, San Marino, Austria, the United States, Switzerland and Monaco. His artistic expression always relies on different themes or “veins,” through which he grounds the techniques and style to best express his concept. Re’s artistic journey began with informal abstraction and evolved toward surrealism and cubism. Roberto has received several awards from critics and has been published in trade magazines such as Juliet and CAM of Mondadori.
