Description from the seller
Original mixed-media drawing by the Belgian artist Lucas Pellens, created in the period 1990–2000.
The work titled “Trust” presents a powerful, architecturally inspired construction that, through its vertical orientation and sketchy, expressive execution, creates a monumental effect. The composition is characterized by strong lines, overlaps, and a deliberately raw execution that gives the work a high level of formal tension.
The work was executed in mixed media on paper, is hand-signed, and on the reverse there is a handwritten number (No. 88). This numbering indicates that the piece comes from a cohesive cycle of works or a study series. It is an original unique piece, not a reproduction.
Dimensions of the artwork: approx. 51 × 49 cm (H × W).
The work is offered without a frame. A loose mat (approximately 65 × 50 cm) is available.
Condition: good, with minor signs of aging and wear typical for its age and type. No known restorations.
An expressive contemporary original, suitable for collectors of modern drawing as well as for curated living or working spaces.
