Description from the seller

Good condition, minor wear on backside, see photos.

Wallendorf is a name that comes with a bit of history. The Wallendorf porcelain factory, based in Germany, dates all the way back to 1764, making it one of Europe’s oldest porcelain makers. By the late 1960s and into the 1970s, Wallendorf was known for blending traditional European craftsmanship with vibrant, sometimes even playful, decorative themes—like this dragon design, which was likely inspired by the rising trend of Asian influences in Western home décor at the time. Porcelain from this era is getting harder to find, especially in such good shape. Collectors love Wallendorf for its fine hand-painted details and durable, beautiful porcelain that has held up through the decades. Even if you’re not a porcelain collector, it’s the kind of vintage décor that starts conversations and instantly adds a touch of sophistication to any room.
