The scene depicts an elegant couple cycling at sunset, typical of Belle Époque iconography, with a strong sense of movement, elegance, and freedom. The fluid stroke and warm color rendering evoke the masters of French graphic art of the period (e.g., Mucha, Grasset, Livemont).
