Tiffany‑style table lamp with a tree‑trunk brass base and an opal glass shade, dated to the 1980s–1990s, European origin, in good vintage condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Tiffany-style table lamp with glass blossom shade and tree-trunk base, c. 1970–1990, Europe.
Decorative table lamp in Tiffany style with a pyramid-shaped, leaded glass shade. The shade consists of cream-yellow opal glass with stylized blue flowers, green leaves, and red centers of flowers; when turned on, it emits a warm, atmospheric light that vividly enhances the colors.
The base is designed as a tree trunk with elaborated roots and features a brass-colored, antique-looking surface ('brass style'). This combination of floral glass design and an organic tree foot evokes Art Nouveau / Jugendstil designs, but it is a later mass-produced piece from the second half of the 20th century (estimated around 1970–1990), manufactured for the European market.
The original, older cable with plug is still available; the lamp is functional and has been tested with a light bulb.
Condition: Overall good vintage condition. The glass shade shows no visible cracks or defects; the solder joints are intact, on the metal base there are light, age-appropriate signs of wear due to patina. No visible manufacturer or designer signature; origin generally Europe.
An ideal mood light for the living room, reading nook, or bedroom, particularly suitable for classic, vintage, Art Nouveau, or country-house interiors.
