Ernst Graner (1865–1943) was a prominent Austrian painter and one of the most prominent Viennese watercolorists of his time. He is best known for his detailed vedutas that capture Vienna's historic cityscape and important architectural monuments.
He initially trained as a lithographer. Subsequently he studied from 1885 to 1890 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Franz Rumpler (1848-1922) and Eduard Peithner von Lichtenfels (1833-1913).
After completing his studies, he regularly exhibited at the Wiener Künstlerhaus.
In 1910 he became a full member there.
