XTC presents Mc Dollars 19cm, a 24k gold leaf on red resin sculpture, 19 cm high with a PMMA plexiglass base 19 × 16 cm, edition 1/8 (2026), hand-signed, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Exceptional sculpture by XTC Artist:
Large cone of Mc Dollars in Red and 24k Gold:
It measures 19cm tall, weighs approximately 1kg, and sits on a 19 x 16 cm, 10mm thick plexiglass (PMMA) base. Designed and crafted from molded resin, it is adorned with 24-karat gold leaf (everything gilded is pure gold leaf, including the logo) and painted a vibrant red. Protected under a glossy and durable varnish, it is, of course, filled with genuine one-dollar bills. The base bears the XTC seal in black wax, and the back of the cone is signed and numbered.
This design will be produced in only 8 copies and 4 EA.
The item pictured is not necessarily the one sent, but will be similar.
Probably XTC's most iconic work to date, in red and gold version.
Dismantling a McDonald's cone, a future luxurious dish in fast-food style?
Signed and numbered on the base, Certificate (COA) provided.
The sample sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful packaging and tracking
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration turned into a passion, which was destined to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular culture (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or Caviar) and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and from advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are considered an integral part of the work.
