Ramp der Titanic (melody sheet), a Dutch 1912 first edition of 2 pages, 33 × 25 cm, in very good condition and very rare.
Description from the seller
This is offered in 1912, shortly after the Titanic disaster on 14 April of that year, in a music magazine distributed in the Netherlands that contains the notation, the original English text of the hymn 'Nearer, My God to Thee!' and its Dutch translation by (the unnamed) Ms. Johanna van der Werken of the song that, according to some accounts, was sung during the sinking of the Titanic.
The paper was printed and perhaps also published by the Salvation Army.
Size: 33 x 25 cm.
Condition: very nice, lightly creased, a few small tears on the left edge.
