AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Original work on panel by Carola Castro, delivered perfectly framed and reflecting in it the inspirations of the great master Pablo Picasso.

It is another work born from the ongoing process of searching and studying that I am conducting on Cubism and on Picasso's entire career.
I am in your world, trapped and absorbing all of your mastery.
It's a plunge into the history of art, and I’m delighted to be able to move around it with ease.

I try to move within the act of continuing to reinvent Cubism by giving it a modern touch.
I regularly access parameters I consider recurring, such as the constant assimilation of images from the past, playing with others' language, focusing on old and modern painters.
I feel a constant sense of diving deeper into the story.

My study and research of the cubist movement, especially of Picasso's extensive career, lead me into unknown territories.

In each painting I try to review the problems and solutions that Picasso posed with Cubism.
Cubism, for me, is a very important pictorial movement within the history of art.
