Otard, also known as Chateau de Cognac, is a French cognac house founded in 1795 by Jean-Baptiste Antoine Otard. The company has remained in the hands of the same family since its establishment. The firm is based in the Chateau des Valois, Cognac, Charente, its home since 1796.

The lots offered are not new but second-hand and may have defects related to their age, bottle level, condition of the cork, label, or capsule, By bidding, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this condition without reservation, We recommend that you do not bid if you do not understand or accept the “second-hand” condition of the lot.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit, due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.

Shipping ;
Due to high or cold temperatures, the shipment of your bottle may be delayed to prevent it from being damaged by high or cold temperatures. Temperature fluctuations can damage wine or spirits, affecting their taste and quality. It is therefore common practice to suspend shipments during during periods of extreme weather, we do not reduce transport costs for groupage shipments.

Old bottles require a rigorous packaging protocol, which takes additional time and may delay delivery. Please contact us before bidding if you have a set date for a birthday or event, We recommend that you do not bid if you are in a hurry.
