The Syrah “Bramasole” from the La Braccesca - Antinori winery is a Tuscan red, intense, enveloping, aromatically deep and delicately spicy, produced by one of the most famous and history-rich names in the world of Italian wine. It is a label born on the Antinori estate in Cortona, the area of ​​Tuscany where the native vine from the Rhone Valley has settled best and where it offers some of the best versions of Syrah ever on our peninsula.

The Syrah “Bramasole” wine from the La Braccesca - Antinori winery comes from the vineyards grown in the western area of ​​the Val di Chiana, which runs from Cortona towards Montepulciano. It is in this splendid area in the province of Arezzo that Antinori decided to invest in a new estate in the early 1990s. It is a property of over 500 hectares, cultivated with various vines and where the Syrah vineyards have also found a home. The French vine was introduced to Cortona in the 1970s and immediately demonstrated an excellent ability to adapt to soils predominantly made up of clay, sand and shale. The cool and very ventilated climate is perfect for the needs of Syrah, which expresses itself at high quality levels. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with maceration on the skins for approximately three weeks. It matures in French oak barriques, partly new and partly second use.

The “Bramasole” Syrah, produced in the lands of Cortona by the La Braccesca - Antinori winery, is an important red, intended for pairings with roast meats or game. The color is intense and dark ruby ​​red. On the nose it releases ripe aromas of small dark berries, black pepper, oriental spices, leather, tobacco, toasted nuances and bitter chocolate. On the palate it has an important structure, with a dense tannic texture, a dense and rich sip, which closes in a harmonious and persistent way, returning to elegant spicy notes.
