Hildegard Stehr, stilleven with lemons, oil on canvas painting in original edition from 2025, 33 x 27 cm, hand-signed, with a digital certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Oil paint on linen
Dimensions: 33 x 27 cm.
This painting showcases a beautifully balanced composition with lemons as the central subjects. The carefully coordinated colors enhance the whole and give it a harmonious appearance. A digital certificate of authenticity is included with the artwork.
Rhythm and structure form the core of Hildegard Stehr's work. Initially trained as a graphic designer at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in Den Bosch, she developed a visual language in which order and irregularity challenge each other. Her work is characterized by rhythmically constructed planes, stacked forms, and a dynamic play of light and shadow. Stehr plays with contrasts such as smooth and rough, cut and tear, strength and vulnerability. Her apparent simplicity is the result of careful consideration.
The artist is regularly invited to exhibitions. Her work is in private collections in Europe and beyond.
