The Kangxi styled underglaze-blue and copper-red ('Qinghua Youlihong') 'Cloud Dragon Chasing the Flaming Pearl' plate is a Qing Dynasty imperial styled piece. It showcases the difficult combined firing of brilliant cobalt blue and vivid copper red—a technical triumph of the Kangxi era. Centered with a powerful five-clawed dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amid clouds, the design symbolizes imperial authority and auspicious power.
