Annett Wagner, Stille Drehungen, 2024, a mixed‑media upcycled paper artwork from the Abgestellt series, 56 cm high by 44 cm wide, in an oiled wooden frame, sold with frame, hand‑signed certificate included.
Description from the seller
Silent Rotations, a work from the series Abgestellt. It shows motifs of the abandoned amusement park (Spreepark/Plänterwald) in Berlin. The teacup carousel no longer turns and is surrounded by lush, wildly overgrown nature. A picture full of nostalgia and childhood memories.
For this series, business cards were used and arranged as a grid, glued and nailed to the gold-painted plate with about 3 mm spacing.
As with all of her works, the pictures are upcycling artworks made from painted paper. For her images, Annett Wagner uses recycled materials and transforms them into high-quality art. The paper rectangles are painted with acrylic paint and nailed individually to the carrier board made of wood fiber.
The image is framed in an oiled wooden frame.
The picture has a hanging device on the back and weighs about 3.5 kg.
With the artwork you will receive a hand-signed certificate. On the frame, there is a metal plaque attached to the side bearing the artist's initials.
