Annett Wagner - Letzte Fahrt

Last Ride, a work from the series Abgestellt. It shows motifs of the abandoned amusement park (Spreepark/Plänterwald) in Berlin. Last Ride features the park's landmark, the orange Ferris wheel. However, the gondolas are still and it is surrounded by lush, wildly overgrown nature. A picture full of nostalgia and childhood memories.

For this series, business cards were used and arranged as a grid, glued and nailed to the gold-painted plate with about 3 mm spacing.

As with all of her works, the pictures are upcycling artworks made from painted paper. For her images, Annett Wagner uses recycled materials and transforms them into high-quality art. The paper rectangles are painted with acrylic paint and nailed individually to the carrier board made of wood fiber.
The image is framed in an oiled wooden frame.

The picture has a hanging device on the back and weighs about 3.5 kg.

With the artwork you will receive a hand-signed certificate. On the frame, there is a metal plaque attached to the side bearing the artist's initials.
