Bronze coin issued during the British Mandate of Palestine, a period characterized by a complex administrative and cultural coexistence clearly reflected in the coin. The trilingual use of legends — English, Arabic, and Hebrew — makes this issue a highly relevant historical document. The reverse features the olive branch, a universal symbol of peace deeply rooted in the region, executed with a simple yet highly recognizable design.
