"Between" is an exploration of a transitional moment and the thin line between the private and the public. At the center of the composition is a figure frozen in a doorway, simultaneously inviting the viewer in and maintaining a distance. The title emphasizes not only the physical position of the subject but also an emotional state: existing between trust and apprehension, between openness and the desire to remain hidden.
