AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This lot contains two very beautiful screenprints with drawings by Frank Pé for the series 'Zoo'.

1 - Screen print no. 3 in the series "Les détachables de Sans Titre" - 63 cm x 15 cm - 1994 - Zoo 1
250 copies, unnumbered and unsigned, of which 50 copies are H.C.
Released for the occasion of the 1994 exhibition.
Consists of 6 interconnected cards (with perforation strips).
As can be seen in the attached photos, parts 2 and 3 are still connected to each other (but a small piece has come loose), but part 1 has completely come loose at the perforation strips.
Nevertheless, this specimen is in excellent condition. It has always been kept in a pochette inside a folder.

2 - Screen print on plexiglass - 29.7 cm x 19.7 cm - "Librairie La Bande des Six Nez" and "Librairie Ziggourat" - 1999 - Zoo 2 - In excellent condition (because this print is transparent you can also see reflections in the attached photos) - issued in 300 copies, but this copy is not signed and not numbered

The screen prints will be safely packed and shipped with Track & Trace.

Seller's Story

Almost thirty years ago I started collecting comics and "Para BD" (silkscreens, postcards, original drawings, etc.), initially somewhat more general, later especially focused on Jean-Pierre Gibrat and François Bourgeon (of whom I own a large collection). Lately my attention is turning more and more toward art and photography books. In 2024 I decided to sell part of this collection, and these are the items you can find here on Catawiki. I have always taken great care of all the items in my collection, and I continue to do so when shipping my sold items, so that you as a buyer can be satisfied with your purchase. Don't hesitate if you have questions for me; I always try to respond quickly. Good auction!
