Corravale's Maiolic plane, a 2024 original diptych in mixed media including acrylic and oil on canvas, measures 140 cm by 60 cm with a nude theme and multicolour palette, shipped rolled in a tube without a frame and sold directly by the artist from Italy, unsigned.
Description from the seller
I use the pseudonym 'Corravale' and am listed in public auctions. The valuations can be checked on a globally recognized website (Artprice), which is based in Paris. I have consistently collaborated for about 20 years with the 'Galleria L' Androne' in Scicli. This gave me the opportunity to hold group exhibitions with artists from the 'Gruppo di Scicli', such as Piero Guccione, Franco Sarnari, Franco Polizzi, and others. These exhibitions have always been successful both in terms of audience and sales. I have held solo exhibitions at the 'Centro culturale Meno Assenza' in Pozzallo. The latest exhibitions were in Genoa and Venice. I can provide a certificate of authenticity signed by myself. I decided to exhibit on Catawiki to gain experience with this platform; I find it interesting to present my art, which comes from an 'institutional' background, and to expand my experience into a 'new' frontier of art, like Catawiki. I am interested in the potential Catawiki has to position itself in managing 'institutionalized artists' and, consequently, to serve as an 'advisor' in a fragmented and confusing art world.
The painting in question is a canvas diptych; it is shipped rolled in a tube without a frame.
