AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Canvas on a frame, posters torn off, aerosol, acrylic, Posca.

Lasveguix is a French artist specializing in poster collages.
Inspired from a young age by Jacques Villeglé's torn posters and the street art of Basquiat and Haring, as well as Andy Warhol's pop art, he creates his paintings from collages of torn posters covered with graffiti, paint, and photo prints. This mixture brings to life colorful and powerful works that resemble wall skins ripped from the street, giving his work an unmistakable urban style.
He likes to work on the background of his supports like a wall, with a story and a message; he adds depth and richness, creating a sense of movement and life in his works.
He participates in numerous charity events and auctions, such as on June 28, 2023, at the last COEUR CENTRAL gala at Roland Garros, in support of the organizations 'Terre d impact' and 'Fete le mur,' where his work 'A Star is Born' commemorating Yannick Noah's 40th victory at RG was auctioned for 35,000 euros.
On October 4, 2023, at the 'Autour des Williams' gala at Pavillon Ledoyen, his tribute work to Jane Birkin was sold for 50,000 euros.
It is a great pride for him to help sick children and the most disadvantaged through his artistic work.
