The model
Created in 1963, the Dies et Hore square is an iconic model from the Hermès Paris fashion house. Inspired by ancient astronomical and zodiac calendars, it illustrates the passage of time (Dies) and hours (Hore) through a circular composition rich in celestial symbols, numerals and astrological signs.

The center features an anthropomorphic golden sun, surrounded by calendar and astrological circles. The zodiac signs, Roman numerals, and celestial motifs unfold in a sophisticated geometric composition.
