Description from the seller

URBAN GEOMETRIES

40x46 cm glicée photograph printed with pigment ink on Hahnemüle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth paper, stamped on the left and hand-signed on the back of the photograph.
The use of Hahnemüle paper combined with pigment ink guarantees museum-quality workmanship, allowing it to remain unchanged over time.

This photograph stems from a desire to explore the poetry hidden in everyday architecture. The colorful facades, illuminated by intense, sharp light, are transformed into abstract backgrounds where the boundary between reality and vision becomes blurred. The rigorous framing enhances the geometry of the shapes, while the color palette—from warm yellow to bright green to delicate purple—creates a vibrant dialogue that invites the viewer to linger on the details and unexpected harmonies of the city.
The work is part of a broader exploration of modernity and the ability of urban spaces to evoke emotions through the simplicity of lines and the power of color. It is a photograph that speaks of silence, waiting, and possibility, offering a new perspective on the contemporary urban landscape.

Enrico Camporese was born in Venice-Italy. From 1965 ti 1970 he began working as a trade union-news photojournalist , documenting the political and social events of the period. Thanks to his photographs, he occasionally collaborated with the weekly italian magazines Il Mondo and L’Espresso.
In August of 1970, he decided to leave for Ireland. In Belfast he documented the outcomes of the daily conflict between Catholics and Protestants.
In September of the same year, in Venice, he cofounded INTERMEDIA, an advertising agency, together with five other colleagues. In 1975 he opened his own communication agency, PubbliCA, which, later became PubbliCA & Associati.
For about twenty years the agency was involved in advertising communication, collaborating and creating campaigns for Veneto companies of national and international importance. Well known brands of Murano glasswork masters rely on PubbliCA for their catalogues and advertising page.
Since 2020 Enrico Camporese has dedicated himself exclusively to art photography
