AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Copper croup- or steam kettle. The kettle consists of a base with a spirit lamp, a water kettle, and a little bucket. Such kettles were rented out by pharmacies to people who had an ailment (mostly croup) affecting their airways. When the patient felt better, the kettle was returned to the pharmacy.
In the croup kettle, water with medicinal herbs was heated. The steam went through the little pipe and was inhaled by the patient.
The little cup at the bottom of the spout catches condensate droplets as they form.
Such a model can be seen in the collection of Museum Gelderland in the Netherlands.
The dimensions to read are without the small pipe. With the small pipe, the width is 45 cm.

This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packed, shipped via registered mail with insurance, and includes a Track & Trace code so you can follow the shipment. Pickup in Ridderkerk - Zuid Holland is also possible. I have delicious hand-ground coffee.
