Description from the seller
Liberty-style candle holder in blue opaline glass with colored mounts and stones – early 1900s
Description
Refined decorative candle holder in satinized opal glass, featuring a delicate blue gradient from milky white to a more intense pale blue, with a petal-shaped edge.
The glass body is enhanced by ornamental applications in darkened metal, finely pierced, which accommodate faceted glass stones in several colors (white, blue, yellow, and pink), a decorative element typical of Liberty style / early Art Nouveau.
An object of great elegance and strong visual impact, ideal as a centerpiece candle holder, a decorative element for period interiors, or a complement for spaces in Liberty and Art Nouveau style.
The quality of the opaline glass, the color rendition, and the presence of the original applications make this piece particularly interesting for collectors and enthusiasts of decorative glass from the early 20th century.
