Description
Beautiful mechanical wall clock with a wooden case, glass door, and a decorative crown featuring a standing horse. The clock is key-wound and includes a pendulum and striking mechanism.
The clock runs well and correctly strikes the hours. Both the movement and the striking mechanism function properly. The dial features Roman numerals and graceful metal hands. The pendulum is adorned with decorative ornaments.
The cabinet is finished in dark-stained wood with turned columns and classical ornaments. Normal signs of use appropriate to its age, with no visible cracks or missing parts.
Probably produced in Germany, mid-20th century (circa 1950–1970), in a historicist style.
