Description from the seller

Antique Sheffield Sterling Silver Bread Fork with Ivory Handle – Henry Wilkinson (HW), c. 1900

Elegant antique sterling silver bread fork, made in Sheffield, England, by Henry Wilkinson & Co., bearing the HW maker’s mark and 925 sterling silver hallmark.

This refined serving fork dates to the late Victorian / early Edwardian period (circa 1890–1910) and features a striking halberd-shaped blade, a decorative form traditionally used for bread and pastry service. The fork is fitted with a finely carved solid ivory handle, complete with a twisted collar detail. The ivory shows a smooth, natural patina consistent with age.
