BRIGA - Stay together

Stay Together is an emblematic work of BRIGA's research, a contemporary visual artist trained at Atelier Verrilli under the guidance of Igor Verrilli. The scene depicts three figures – a blue elephant, a girl, and an anthropomorphic animal character – gathered under a large red umbrella, while a heavy rain falls on a landscape of vivid colors.

The visual language, seemingly naïve and playful, hides a deep reflection on emotional fragility and the need for protection and sharing. The text 'Stay Together', painted directly on the surface, does not describe the image but amplifies its message, becoming a universal declaration.

Color is the absolute protagonist: vibrant swathes of yellow, turquoise, and red build an emotional space more than a realistic one. The painted material remains deliberately visible and imperfect, in keeping with a practice that dialogues with street art and contemporary naïve art.
