An old full size violin for professional musician or collector. The violin is in a good shape, with some small repaired cracks on top, new master made bridge, ebony and rosewood set up, new strings. Two pieces back of softly flamed maple wood, straight high grained spruce top. With its beautifully carved scroll and refined orange-brown varnish over golden ground, this instrument is a elegant personality with a broad range of sound nuances. Warm and matured in its lower registers, its balanced sound of medium power gains clarity, brightness and sweetness in the upper registers.
The label says: "Augustus Pollastri Raphaelis Fiorini alumnus fecit Bononiae an. 1908"

body length - 361 mm
upper back - 167 mm
middle Back - 112 mm
lower back - 207 mm
