Late 19th-century solid 950 silver sugar sifter spoon by Paul Massat, Paris, with a shell pierced bowl and engraved oval medallion handle, net weight 60 g, dimensions 20.5 × 6.5 cm, hallmarked Minerve 1 and Massat mark, excellent condition.

Superior hand crafted quality late 19th solid 950 silver large size sugar sifter spoon, with elegant engraved and raised oval ornate medallion handle (Pattern number 276)
The shell shaped bowl finely hand pierced with naturalistic scrolls
Fully hallmarked Paris Assay Office guarantee "Minerve1" for 950 silver, together with 1877-1885 Paul Massat silversmith's mark (P. Massat over a lyre)
Length 20,5 cm
Width 6,5 cm
Net silver weight 60 grams
Condition report:
In clean fine circa 150 years old original condition - great patina, minor scratches - no dings, no bumps, no cracks, no repairs, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description (wine bottle not included)
