Two porcelain bowls from China, Qing Dynasty (estimated 1850–1900), each with a diameter of 16.2 cm and a height of 6.2 cm, finely painted with ladies in conversation, provenance from a private collection and in good condition with minor signs of age and two small chips on the bases, sold without a stand.
Description from the seller
Two porcelain bowls. China, 19th century.
A) Chinese Qing Dynasty, late 19th century (Guangxu?). Finely painted with ladies in conversation, and with an inscription on the back. Two small chips on the base do not affect the overall piece.
B) China 19th century (probably Daoguang). Diameter 16.2 cm × height 6.2 cm. A fairly fine and rich design, typical of the period, with butterflies on the exterior and, on the interior, a small medallion with peaches. An invisible hairline fracture (see photo)
