Ulla Kutter's oil painting Capri, a realist seascape in green, turquoise, white and brown, 24 × 24 cm, dated 2020 and later, original edition, sold with a silver wooden frame and framed; signed on the back and offered directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
The visible painting is only 12×12 cm in size, hence a white mat; both are framed in a silver wooden frame. The signature is on the back of the wooden panel to which the canvas is stretched.
This small oil painting with a motif from the island of Capri is an extension of summer: pines and beautiful old buildings high above the Mediterranean – below, a small bathing place with a sunshade between the rocks!
I love Capri very much and I really enjoyed painting this small oil painting.
I painted it in two coats of oil paint. It is framed in a stylish silver wooden frame. This little painting lets you dream of summer!
About me as an artist:
My passion lies in painting with oil paints, as it brings a great deal of light and vitality. I paint modern subjects using a technique that is inspired by that of the old Dutch masters. I paint both urban motifs and the sea.
I perceive my surroundings and turn them into art.
I was born in 1960 in Hamburg, and after two semesters at the University of Applied Sciences for Design I switched to training and work in the social sector. Today I work both as a painter and as a social worker.
I have spent my entire life painting with different media, and since 2004 with oil paint. In 2011 I began to exhibit as well. I am currently painting in a studio in Altona, on Ruhrstraße.
