Description from the seller

Ancient mesh (chainmail) coin purse, presumably from the late 19th or early 20th century, a period when wallets in this style were especially popular among women. The red cabochon button suggests an elegant finish, typical of chatelaine-wallets, which were sometimes worn on a belt or chain and regarded as luxury accessories for women during the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

Length 7 cm
Width 5 cm
Open diameter 5 cm
55 grams

There are some loose beads (see photos), and the closure is good.

Carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
