“Zyrrakfish” is part of the Neofish universe, a collection where every creature is an attitude and not just an image. In this work I explore the freedom of color and the expressiveness of form as the main language. The red background acts as a symbolic, intense, and vibrant ocean from which Zyrrakfish emerges with an almost defiant presence. Its bold lines, exaggerated volumes, and direct gaze make it a fish with its own identity, alien to anything like neutrality. In Neofish I’m interested in breaking with decoration and building characters that convey emotion, humor, and a certain visual irony. Zyrrakfish does not swim to hide; it floats to be seen. The mixed media and acrylic enable me to layer gestures and colors that reinforce its spontaneous and vital character. It is a conscious inhabitant of its uniqueness, reclaiming color as a way of existing.”} }-?{

I am a self-taught Spanish visual artist, based in Alicante, driven by an unwavering passion for creative freedom and spontaneous expression. My creative process is fueled by a relaxed and stimulating environment, where chill-out music accompanies me, allowing me to channel my energy and give my best in every brushstroke. I am particularly drawn to the expressionist style, where emotion and subjectivity take center stage. The proximity to the Mediterranean has profoundly influenced my work, leading me to capture the beauty and strength of the sea on numerous canvases. Additionally, cave art is a constant source of inspiration, and its primitive and essential strokes are often reflected in my creations. I consider myself an artist in constant evolution, exploring new techniques and styles, with vast creative potential. Each piece is a step forward in my artistic journey, pushing me to reach new goals.
