Description from the seller
Individual and Community XV
Nacho Vergara, 1990
35 x 50 x 3 cm
Oil paint and marker on canvas.
Signed on the back, with certificate of authenticity; it is shipped mounted on the frame, framed.
This work offers a captivating visual experience that plays with the duality between the ephemeral and the structured. The image of a flock of birds crossing a sunset sky, blending into lavender and rosy tones, conveys deep serenity and an almost dreamlike harmony. Yet the surprising geometric formation of the birds introduces an element of mystery and fascination, inviting the viewer to reflect on the beauty of hidden patterns in nature and the elegance of order within chaos. It is a piece that breathes calm, yet maintains a constant intellectual vibrancy.
The work is in perfect condition and measures [Insert Height] x [Insert Width] cm. My work is supported by a solid professional track record, having been awarded the First Prize in the Pinto City Painting Prize, the First Prize in Antonio López Painting, and selected for the 40th BMW Painting Prize. Furthermore, my artistic practice has developed internationally thanks to the Art Valley ICCI Shanghai Fellowship, my residency as a fellow at the Yu Hsiu Museum in Taiwan, and at Tinglado Gráfico in Oaxaca, Mexico.
