Fleurs du Zaïre is a French-language illustrated portfolio by Micheline de Salinelles, containing 40 aquarelle plates (38 × 29 cm) on Steinbach paper, published by Pehel Editions Bruxelles in 1988, in very good condition.

* Collection: a box set of 40 plates representing the flowers of Zaire.
Box size: 42 cm × 33 cm
Watercolor boards size: 38 cm × 29 cm
* The boards are in excellent condition and the case shows some signs of aging, as shown in the photos.
* Preface written and signed by the President of the Republic of the time, Mobutu Sese Seko.
* Original edition on genuine Steinbach paper 300 g, 40 superb color plates (38 x 29 cm), under labeled overlays with description: Scientific name / Family / Order / Vernacular names in English and French / Description of the flower
Watercolors by MICHELINE DE SALINELLES: an artist whose works, periodically exhibited at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Zaïre capital, consistently earn her very lively and well-deserved acclaim.
