Description from the seller

Erhard Hürsch – Changchun Film Studio, stamped. Black-and-white photograph, handwritten notation on the reverse, good condition.

Erhard Hürsch (1920–2009) was a Swiss photographer, journalist and author whose work captures the fascination with foreign cultures and remote landscapes. With sober precision and at the same time sensitive perception, he chronicled the lives of people and places on his journeys—from Latin America to Tibet. Hürsch's photographs combine documentary accuracy with poetic depth, revealing dignity, authenticity, and the small, often overlooked moments of everyday life.
